MLN518 is a KIT and FLT3 inhibitor that seems to be marketed more as a FLT3 inhiibitor. It is also known as CT53518
Unlike most KIT inhibitors, MLN518 inhibits the KIT D816V mutation. The PDGFRA D842V mutation is very similar to the D816V mutation, so it is possible that MLN518 will also inhibit the D842V mutation.
This drug has not been in any trials for GIST.
